surfboard ding repair on the road or surf trip.

So you dinged your surfboard and don't have any repair stuff or time because the waves are pumping. But your surfboard is new and cost you some cash and you don't want water getting in your foam. And you DON'T  want to jam some wax in the hole.  So what you need to carry is some water proof tape or easier and smaller than carrying a roll of tape.
All those cool stickers you got from the surf shop or with your new traction pad. Just keep them in with your gear. So you jump out of the water run up to the car . Quickly dry your board and hands. Stick the sticker over the ding and get back in the water. No wax to clean out of the ding and most importantly no water in the ding. You should let your surfboard dry out a bit if you did get some water in the damaged area before fixing it or taking it in for repair. UNLESS it's pumping! Then just keep surfin' until your arms fall off.
